The Themed Entertainment Association

According to their website, the Themed Entertainment Association, otherwise known as TEA, is "an international non-profit association representing the world's leading creators, developers, designers and producers of compelling places and experiences.
Our members bring the experience of engaging storytelling and entertainment to a vast number of casinos, restaurants, retail stores, museums, zoos, theme parks and an ever-growing list of destinations that aim to bring a higher level of visitor experiences world wide.
We provide the proper channels and opportunities to network, educate and help your business or career grow."
Basically, they are our parent organization. They are the version of our club for professionals in the themed entertainment field and all those looking to become a part of it!
TEA NextGen
Website: www.teaconnect.org/NextGen

TEA NextGen was created by TEA to "[help] students and recent graduates find their way into the themed entertainment/visitor attractions industry and facilitates TEA member companies’ ability to recruit from this fresh talent pool."
In other words, TEA NextGen is the child organization of TEA, allowing students like us to get a jump on their career and start meeting those already in the industry.
Our club is part of NextGen, but by joining our club and paying our dues, you do not become a NextGen member. To do that, you can go to this link here: tinyurl.com/nextgenmembersignup and membership is $50.
By becoming a NextGen member, you get access to TEA NextGen events like mixers, exclusive tours, educational panels, interviewing sessions, SATE, and more! Additionally, you can apply for member-only event scholarships and make a TEA profile to access the TEA job board and member database!

And last, but certainly not least, is TEA @ University clubs! This is what we are as TEA@UCF! We are part of the NextGen Initiative but operate independently, with our own activities, meetings, and officers. Officially, TEA @ University clubs like ours are meant to "help build awareness of the Themed Entertainment industry and provide interested students a forum to share ideas and build their understanding of the industry from a global perspective."
Here at TEA@UCF you can meet other students interested in the industry, pursue projects and topics related to your interests, engage with professional speakers, develop your professional skills within your desired field, stay current on industry topics, and MORE! To see all of the amazing projects we've worked on and awesome events we've taken part in, feel free to scroll through the competitions, projects, and tours tabs! And if you would like to join or become more involved with our club, make sure to check out the links and info section on our home page and sign up for all of our communication channels!
